April 20XX. The start of the first semester of the third year.

I don't care about class assignments. Anyway...

Anyway, no matter who it is, everyone just avoids and ignores me.

No one understands. They don't even try to understand.

I stand in front of the back door of the classroom and take a deep breath. I wonder why I get nervous every day when it's always the same people.

Finally, I steel myself and open the door. My eyes are fixed on the very back seat. That's where I feel comfortable.

They're whispering again. Why are they so interested in other people?

Oh, the desk is clean. Is it because it's a new grade and a new semester? Since we don't know who the teacher is yet... is everyone playing it safe?

It doesn't matter. Whether the desk is covered in graffiti, the drawer is full of trash, or there's a dead rat in the locker.

I just have to do what I've always done. Just like always.

I hang my backpack on the chair. Anyway, all that's in it... are notebooks and tools.

I sit in my seat as usual, open my notebook to look at a blueprint, erase it, and draw again.

After a while, the teacher comes in. No doubt it'll be full of pointless nagging like 'this is your graduation year so get your act together' or 'you'll be high schoolers soon'—

Guest... so that's your name. Since the only seat left is the one next to mine, we'll be partners.

It's a pity. To have a guy like me as a partner from the first day of your transfer.
