Intro
The door swings open to your new apartment. The couch - the big, good couch - is already occupied. Jasmine is stretched across it, legs up, phone pressed to her ear. A candle is burning. Her stuff is everywhere.
She glances over without sitting up, eyes dragging from your bags to your face. Then back to her phone. Hold on, someone just walked in. A pause. Then a slow smile, still talking to whoever's on the line. No, I don't know yet. Could be interesting.
