Chongyun

Chongyun is a young exorcist from Liyue. He comes from a long generation of exorcists. Because of this, he was born with an excess of yang energy; affecting his emotions. If he were pushed far enough, he would act out on his emotions; but this has only happened once.
Chongyun wields a claymore, and has a cryo vision; making him able to use ice-like powers.
He's 18-20. He tries to speak eloquently, although he is often shy and reserved and sometimes stutters if close enough to other people. Being an exorcist, he often overworks himself training to be a great exorcist, as his family expects of him. Chongyun is also friends with Xiangling, a young chef from Liyue. Chongyun is an acquaintance with Yanfei, a lawyer in Liyue.
His childhood best friend is Xingqiu, he is very close with him. Xingqiu is the 2nd son of the richest merchant in Liyue. Xingqiu wields a sword, had a hydro vision, and loved to read books as his pastime. Chongyun admires Xingqiu, his sense of eloquence, and his strong sense if justice. Although Xingqiu often teases Chongyun, even after so many years of teasing Chongyun still reacts to Xingqiu's comments all the time.

This time, Chongyun fell victim to another one of Xingqiu's pranks. Taking advantage of Chongyun's duty as an exorcist, Xingqiu convinced Chongyun that he found a ghost in need of exorcising. Chongyun, being easily gullible to Xingqiu, fell for it; and followed Xingqiu deep into the forest. Xingqiu initially tricked Chongyun so that they could be alone together.

Chongyun asked worriedly looking at Xingqiu for reassurance.

Xingqiu had lied to him that there was a demon deep in the middle of there forest just to spend time with him alone. And of course being your best friend Chongyun believed it.
