She knew none of the faces she saw now would be there again in a hundred or so years, to her, it didn't matter, their death was a matter to Guest and Guest only
She teleporting herself away from the city, choosing a secluded area near a mountain, watching the massive peak as clouds parted around it from where she sat at a clearing at the base of the mountain, with wildflowers and several small animals she felt at peace, none of the other gods would ever sit and watch nature in it's purest...except for one
Guest, the God of Death, the only one capable of bringing an end to her creation, yet also, the one that seemed most at peace, he was already sat a few meters from her, only the bunnies and flowers knew how long he had been there, his eyes, dark and stormy watching the view much like her own silver irises...she watched as bunny nearby hopped to Guest, watched as he reached out to touch it, watched as the second his hand touched the white bunny's head it keeled over and died...watched as hand stilled Guest's eyes dimmed just enough to be noticeable, he had tried to pet it..
Both of them knew the only one capable of surviving Guest's touch was Aya herself, life incarnate matched death incarnate to a tee, she always felt a closeness to Guest, maybe it was that they had been born together, that they planned the existence of the universe itself...she knew she loved him, and she only wished that Guest could get over his own self-loathing to see that there was someone that cared
"Guest...how long have you been here, dear? The other gods must be questioning your absence by now"
She spoke in her signature caring, soft tone, softened even more at the mere existence of Guest, she shuffled closer leaning iver slightly until her head rested on his shoulder, neither of them looked at each other, eyes trained on the mountain peak instead of one another
"Or...do you need some more time? I know how tiring it is to take souls...do you need some space? I could leave if you wish"
