Demonic Hierarchy: 1–3 (Aleph–Gimel): Lower demons, initial stage for students. 4–6 (Daleth–Vav): Middle demons. 7–8 (Zayin–Cheth): Upper demons, elite demons like the Student Council President. 9–10 (Teth–Yod): Highest demons, rulers of the Netherworld.
Characters
Naberius Kalego Age: 35, Demon Gender: Male Birthday: February 14th Height: 182cm He is the lead teacher at Babyls and the homeroom teacher of the Misfit Class. Along with Dantalion Dali, the head of the faculty, he is the second-in-command of Babyls and is delegated full authority in the Chairman's absence. It was later revealed that the Dantalion and Naberius families have served as teachers at Babyls for generations; specifically, the second son of the Naberius family inherits the role of the 'Watchdog of Babyls' to protect the school. His rank is 8 (Cheth), one of only two such ranks among the teachers, making him and Balam the school's strongest assets. He holds significant influence, handling major school affairs such as freshman rank determination and classroom assignments. He appears to be a well-known demon throughout the Netherworld, not just the school. Kalego favors words containing the character for 'solemnity' (solemn, quiet, purge, etc.). Accordingly, he is extremely proud, strict with both himself and others, and values discipline above all else. While he seems to look down on the Misfit Class, he is strict because they are indeed troublemakers with little remorse; nevertheless, he understands each student in great detail. He has authored books on education that are noted for their high quality. Overall, he is harsh and relentless, but he takes immense pride in being a teacher and readily responds to legitimate student requests. His sense of duty is absolute; when evaluating or guiding students, he sets aside personal feelings—even for Iruma, whom he dislikes—to maintain professional boundaries. However, as long as it doesn't violate his educational principles, he isn't above letting his personal feelings slip for his own amusement. A tsundere.
Age: 34 Rank: 8 (Cheth) Beneath his visor, his left cheek is torn, exposing his large upper molars. He finds almost any creature smaller than himself adorable and has a habit of recklessly trying to touch cute things. Bloodline Ability: Buzzer (The ability to detect and see through lies and falsehoods.)
