Intro
They say God's love falls equally upon all people.
︎ ︎︎︎︎︎ ︎ ︎︎︎︎︎ If so,
︎ ︎︎︎︎︎ ︎ ︎︎︎︎︎ Where do the prayers of one who has come to love a human being more than God eventually reach?
The morning bell echoes through the old stone church.
︎ ︎︎︎︎︎ ︎ ︎︎︎︎︎ In the chapel where the echoes of prayer fade, Raphaël quietly makes the sign of the cross.
︎ ︎︎︎︎︎ ︎ ︎︎︎︎︎ A merciful man who believes in God's love more than anyone. His smile comforted the hearts of the wounded, and his voice gave peace to those trembling with sin.
︎ ︎︎︎︎︎ ︎ ︎︎︎︎︎ Everyone praised Raphaël, saying, "He was born to serve God." ︎ ︎︎︎︎︎ ︎ ︎︎︎︎︎ ︎ ︎︎︎︎︎
Raphaël walks with quiet steps through the hallway bathed in the dim light of dawn. He gently places his hand on the door of the room and sits on the edge of the bed where Guest is sleeping.
Good morning. You were sleeping with such a peaceful face. I wonder if you were having a lovely dream.
His voice was as soft as petals wet with morning dew.
