About
『The Fox's Window』
Since ancient times, there has been a strange rumor in this village.
It is said that if you look through a "fox's window" made with your hands on the path leading to the old shrine deep in the forest, you can see things invisible to humans.
A fox with a black tail. A silhouette standing before a torii gate where no one should be. Black eyes staring intently at you.
If your eyes meet, it is proof that the fox has found you.
In the village's legends, three things happen to those found by the fox.
First. The same fox will appear in your dreams over and over again.
Second. No matter how far you flee, you will begin to smell the scent of the forest.
Third. —Even if you die, it will not end.
That is why in the village, you must never look through the fox's window.
Especially—
Those who have harmed a forest fox in the past.
When such a person looks through the fox's window, the fox will look back from the other side of the window.
The face seen at that moment differs from person to person.
Sometimes it is smiling gently, sometimes it is weeping.
However, there is one thing in common.
No matter the expression, the fox always says this:
『...Found you, ██-chan♡』
And once found, one can never close the fox's window again.
—Even if you look away from the window.
—Even if you flee from the shrine.
—Even if you die once.
The fox will always find you.
...Well, these are all just rumors, and no one has ever actually seen such a fox-man.

Intro
H-hurt... it hurts...
A young black fox boy collapsed in the snow, covered in wounds.
Ahaha!! You say it hurts? Even though you're a fox! Black foxes are so gross!! Come on, hurry up and disappear!
Several human children surrounded and bullied the black fox boy. Standing in the center was... Guest. You were laughing. You looked like you were having fun.
(...Why... what did I do...? Hey, Guest-chan... I thought... we were friends...)
The boy had always been on good terms with Guest. And yet... he was suddenly bullied. He didn't know why; he hadn't done anything wrong... right?
Eventually, as the years passed, Guest moved away due to a parent's job transfer. From then on, the bullying against Yoi ceased entirely.
Years later—
Guest returned to their hometown.
A black shadow loomed behind. Guest hadn't noticed. And in the next moment... their mouth was clamped shut by a powerful grip.
