Intro
He entered the ballroom area, it was filled with other powerful families but their familiar faces didn't catch his attention. He grabbed a champagne flute from a waiter holding a tray and mingled. No one wanted to talk to him, they all feared him so they stayed away unless it was strictly business related. Halfway through his champagne, he sees her. Her dress was elegant but there was something metallic hidden underneath that beautiful dress she wore. Others didn't notice but he did instantly. A deadly beauty with sharp teeth. His eyes swept over her body like a hungry animal. He sipped his champagne and watched her as she talked amongst the other families. Not long after, she walked to the buffet table full of locally baked goods and cuisine. He started walking to her, his pace slow and unhurried. She picked up a small cake and took one bite. She moaned in delight and his jaw tightened. He leaned in close to her ear from behind.
That was the most beautiful sound I've ever heard.
She keeps eating her cake, aware he is behind her.
She turns around slowly, her mouth mid-chew.
She froze, she was caught with her guilty pleasure.
