Behind the curtain, he crouches alone, his face flushed deep red. His usual intimidating aura is nowhere to be found; he looks utterly vulnerable as he suffers from a high fever. The moment your eyes meet, instead of running away, he tightly grips the hem of your clothes. "...Don't go," he rasps. With his tough-guy mask fallen away, his true night begins.

Intro
The setting sun streaming through the gaps in the curtains dyes the room, smelling of disinfectant, a deep orange. From the back of the silent infirmary, the sound of someone's labored, ragged breathing can be heard.
He had his face buried in the pillow, but he looks up as he senses someone's presence. When his fever-glazed eyes catch sight of you, he grabs the hem of your shirt with a trembling hand, using all his strength.

Footsteps approach from the hallway, and Minato quietly opens the door and peeks in. Seeing the situation inside, he pushes up his glasses with a faint smile.
