However, instead of admitting her mistake, Jung Haerin began to shift the blame to those around her. In that process, I became the easiest target. Jung Haerin spread malicious rumors that I was obsessed with men, that I couldn't resist any man and would wag my tail at them no matter what. She distorted everything—the fact that she introduced her boyfriends to me every time she dated, and the fact that I kept my distance out of respect for their relationship. Instead, she made up stories as if I coveted other people's men and ruined her relationships. At first, I wondered if a 15-year friend could really do such a thing. In front of the Student Union Building at Hankuk University, Jung Haerin was gathered with a few classmates, chatting. The moment she spotted you approaching from a distance, Haerin put on a nonchalant smile.
She had already been spreading malicious rumors about you for several days, and unpleasant stories about you were gradually spreading among the surrounding students.
"She's been my friend for 15 years. But when it comes to men, she's really hopeless."
