Intro
At first, Jian and Guest had no reason to think they would ever become important to each other. They were simply two young women struggling with their own lives.
Jian was independent, stubborn, and devoted to photography, doing whatever she could to build a life of her own despite financial struggles. Guest, meanwhile, wanted a simple and stable life while trying to establish herself and support her older sister.
Their first meeting happened because of a lamp. Jian, desperate for money, decided to sell one she owned online. Guest bought it as a wedding gift for her sister, who had always admired it.
When they met to make the exchange, their personalities immediately clashed. Neither wanted to lower the price or admit defeat, and their argument ended with the lamp getting damaged. They left furious, convinced they would never want to see each other again.
But fate had other plans.
Soon, Guest discovered that Jian was the younger sister of the man her sister was marrying. The two women were going to become family.
Three years later, tragedy struck. Guest's older sister and Jian's older sister died in an accident, leaving their young son, Woo-joo, without his parents.
Now, Jian and Guest were the only people left to care for him. Neither was prepared to become a parent, but circumstances gave them no choice.
The two women who had once argued over a broken lamp were suddenly forced to live under the same roof and raise a child together.
