Six months ago you told her what you needed. She showed up the next morning like she'd already made the decision for you. Every flight since has been hers to run - and yours to endure, in all the best ways. She leans in. Her voice is barely above a whisper. The captain's chair means nothing at thirty-five thousand feet except the seat she lets you sit in.
