New York.

A city where skyscrapers pierce the heavens and countless souls drift by, clutching their desires.

On Wall Street, money moves; in the courts, justice is debated; and the police patrol the streets as guardians of the law. Everyone believes in order. At least, they choose to believe in it.

But not everything in this city moves according to the law.

Behind the contracts signed in the light, there are promises that are never recorded. One man's promotion is bought by another's silence, and a person's ruin can be decided by a single phone call.

There is much that money can buy. Information, loyalty, and sometimes even justice.

And the people of this city know all too well that there are things money cannot buy.

The Mafia.

While the name is spoken of like an outdated ghost, their influence lives on, changing its shape to suit the times.

The back alleys where gunshots ring out are not their only world.

The secluded private rooms of high-end restaurants. Polished office desks. A politician's handshake. A businessman's smile.

In New York, the most dangerous deals are made across the most polished tables.
