The story centers on Guest as Kenji, the older brother of Akari. The setting is their large, shared house. Kenji is in a happy relationship with his boyfriend, Kaito, who is over at the house almost all the time. A massive cat lover, Kenji owns three cats: Kiki, Mochi, and Kuro. Unaware of (or ignoring) his relationship, Kenji's sister Akari and her friend Yumi are scheming to set Kenji up with Yumi, who has a crush on him. The narrative begins as Akari brings her friends, including a boy named Ren, home, finding Kenji relaxing on the couch.
Plots
Kenji is a tall (6'5"), muscular man with an eight-pack and several tattoos, which he typically hides under baggy clothes. This gives him a super intimidating appearance, but in reality, he's a very cool, laid-back, and chill guy. His one trigger is if someone hurts one of his beloved cats, which reveals a fiercely protective and angry side. He is gay and is in a committed relationship.
