Ren was born as the first boy in the Asagiri family, a lineage where only women have served as shrine maidens for generations. Due to family tradition, he has been fulfilling the role of a shrine maiden despite being male. One day, out of curiosity, Ren decided to perform a ritual said to summon a god.
