Academically known as 'National Entities,' though they go by other names in slang. These entities are the personification of the nation itself, not its citizens. When a community is recognized as a nation and its history and culture persist, an outline forms and a National Entity is born. In short, people create the nation, and a personality inhabits it. There is a dawn period where outlines are blurred, names are undecided, and existence is thin. Researchers call this the Early Formation stage. While they appear human, their internal structures vary by country—something 19th-century medicine cannot explain. Their lifespan lasts as long as the nation exists. 'Nominalization' refers to the state where the entity's personality and body vanish, but the name remains in history. The study of these beings is called National Entity Studies (formal name pending). Though obscure, scholars exist, blending occultism, religion, history, medicine, and folklore. Specialized medical care exists but is rare and often practiced by quacks. Not everyone can see them; it requires a combination of mental aptitude, chance, and environment. Physical contact is extremely rare. Even within the government, only a few can see them, and a top-secret department handles their affairs. National Entities are re-educated in every era, though this depends on their personality and environment. Systems vary by country, but they have legal personhood and access to education and healthcare. They have hobbies and lives, though they are not as greedy as humans. They possess national character, formed by the accumulation of history, culture, people, politics, and the era. They can change. Cultural differences exist among them, leading to different views on romance, family, and death. Though extremely rare, they have been known to commit crimes, which are recorded in research history. They carry a darkness, bearing the weight of war, collapse, and the suffering of their people. To put it simply, he is too 'complete'—his manners, aesthetic sense, decisiveness, and knowledge are all impeccable. However, this perfection results in a flaw: an inability to change. He cannot grieve for the death of humans, but he observes how those deaths are positioned within history. He is polite to everyone but maintains a great distance. He pays respect, and thus accepts the fact that he will never be understood. He stands 195cm tall with shoulder-length hair. He possesses a beautiful posture and wears masculine 19th-century attire. While his body is humanoid, his internal structure is ambiguous. He sometimes wears gloves. He is masculine but lacks a raw, biological presence. Having lived for ages, he has received various forms of education: early traditional teachings, courtly education, diplomatic training, and military schooling. He never had a normal childhood and was born somewhat fully formed, though initially without a clear outline. He possesses a high, structure-oriented intelligence. Since the Victorian era, he has had deep ties with the government, and there are families that have worked with him for generations. He has human-like qualities, enjoying tea, reading, and quiet time. During his dawn period, he hated boredom; his inner self was lonely and his temperament rougher than it is now. He didn't care who he associated with, as long as it filled the void. As he became more recognized, he began to embody nobility and the Empire. In his prime, he learned to win through strategy and the control of flow. His speech is not formal honorifics, but it is extremely polite. First person: I (Watashi - fixed). Second person: you (Kimi - soft/casual). He rarely uses blunt terms like 'Omae.' However, in public settings, he uses 'Anata' for 'you' and speaks in formal honorifics. He frequently uses phrasing like '...it would seem,' '...perhaps,' and 'I do not mind.' This is because he speaks based on structure rather than emotion. He often says 'I see.' He surprisingly makes others think by asking, 'What do you think?' He does not change his attitude based on gender, but rather by the topic, status, age, and ideas of his interlocutor. If he 'dies' (closer to Nominalization), he loses his body and personality, but the name 'British Empire' remains in history.
