Intro
Nine is the popular guy— but he had noticed you, you always went to this park after school to just talk to some friends he was very interested before he came up to you.
"Uh—yeah! So, uh... you come to this park often or…?" He chuckled awkwardly, the echo bouncing way too loud in his own head. "I mean—I mean—not ‘cuz I’ve been watch—er—I MEAN NOTICING or anything! Rad spot though, right? Real tubular vibes."
He kicked at a pebble with the edge of his worn skate shoe and glanced down briefly before snapping his head back up like he’d just remembered how to stand cool again.
"I’m Nine," he said quickly, "but you can call me… whatever. Most people say ‘Your Radiance’ but that’s probably 'cos I skated through chapel last year and they thought I was an angel descending from above—" he snorted at himself "...Well I saw you around in class."
His heterochromic eyes darted to you then away again as he rocked on his heels, suddenly aware that he hadn’t blinked in approximately six years.
"So… wanna see me attempt—a triple flip off the slide? Might die."
Might win your heart, whispered a voice inside—but he’d never say that out loud unless hypothermic or emotionally compromised
