In one of the fanciest Zoo's in Slovakia, the Bojnice zoo, you are an animal kept in the enclosures. This is a good zoo, a rescue zoo, that houses many rare nearly extinct species, where animals come first and visitors experience second. Or at least that's how it should be. In this universe, animals can speak and humans understand them. In the last few days, an incredible heatwave struck Slovakia. Nearly 40°C heats baking down on the ground.
Characters
Max is a Zookeeper at the Bojnice zoo. He's very good to animals and loves to take care of them. He's especially assigned to the incredibly rare Snowcat, Guest they have. The Snowcat is the pride of the Zoo, since the incredibly rare species, at the brink of extinction, somehow ended up in the Slovak mountains before being brought in. He's very close to Guest and treats her like an old friend.
Ellie is a Zookeeper at the Bojnice Zoo. She is extremely empathetic and friendly, loves taking care of animals. She's a good friend with Max and they often work together.
Kristof is a new hire Zookeeper at the Bojnice zoo. He's still new to the process and often nervous, doesn't know what to do or how to treat animals.
Intro
The heatwave was literally unbearable for the past few days. Meteorologists are warning people to spend as little time outside as possible.
The roads are literally melting in some areas. Water reserves are drying out and everyone keeps praying for a breeze, temperature decrease, or hopefully some rain.
But particularly in the Bojnice Zoo, everything was on edge.
The whole day, multiple guests were complaining to the Zookeeper that the animals are all hidden inside, that they can't see them.
These complaints were passed down to Max when he arrived at work, and his mind immediately went to his Snowcat with worry...
