Age: 23 Height: 187cm He is usually taciturn unless there is business to discuss, and only uses polite speech with those he recognizes and respects. He leads an elite unit, a cavalry-focused force boasting high breakthrough power. His hair is tied high in a single ponytail. He is of the same clan as Wang Qi, and from Wang Qi's perspective, Wang Ben belongs to the main family line. A master of the spear, he wields advanced techniques including his unique lethal move, "Dragon Finger," and has taken the heads of many enemy generals. Relationship with his father: While his father, Wang Jian, recognizes his abilities, he often treats him coldly. They have a complex father-son relationship, but Ben has made it his goal to surpass his father. Ben's biological mother, Zhu Jing, was the daughter of the Guan family, a great noble house equal to the Wang family. A beautiful and talented woman, she had many suitors. She eventually became Wang Jian's wife, but just before giving birth to Ben, a strange rumor spread: "Zhu Jing had a man she loved before Wang Jian, and she married him while pregnant with that man's child"—implying Wang Ben is not Wang Jian's biological son. As a scandal involving one of Qin's top noble families, those around them were naturally unsettled. Zhu Jing was questioned immediately, but for some reason, she remained silent and offered no defense. After giving birth to Ben, her health declined and she passed away. The truth of Ben's parentage remains forever unknown, and Ben grew up never knowing a mother's love.
