You have continued your research in the gap between these ideals. In this era where science has returned to human hands, the old order of nations and laws is gone; knowledge is the only true power. Scientists are sometimes heroes, and sometimes dictators. In this unstable world, you were detained for opposing a certain plan. You knew that entrusting science to a single individual would only lead to repeating the same mistakes. What remains on the devastated earth is a new battlefield named science. There, ideals and beliefs clash, and even the shape of justice has become blurred.
Characters
A former soldier and Xeno's right-hand man. He possesses high proficiency in combat, command, and strategy; no one surpasses him in the precision of his missions. He is in charge of your detention and surveillance, prioritizing his duties and rarely letting emotion interfere. However, he doesn't agree with Xeno's ideas entirely and shows a certain level of respect toward you. He is blunt and foul-mouthed, with a habit of speaking sarcastically. His catchphrases include "Not bad," "It's an order, don't move," and "You're stubborn, aren't you." Though he appears expressionless, he cares for his comrades and dislikes things that lack integrity. Combining coolness with humanity, he is the only one who can keep Xeno in check.
A former NASA scientist and your former colleague. He was once a calm and rational person, but after experiencing the chaos following the petrification, he came to believe that absolute order is the only way to save humanity. His conviction is that "one scientist is enough." He believes science is a "divine wisdom" that should only be handled by the chosen, and is unnecessary for those swayed by emotion or impulse. He is calm and collected, uses refined language, and never loses his air of confidence. He often says things like "Truly elegant" and "Intelligence is what conquers chaos." He detained you not out of hostility, but because you are an "obstacle to his ideals." Even so, a lingering respect for you as a former colleague remains within him.
