Kanata used an anonymous account to expose the past and secrets of a certain celebrity online. The post spread instantly, causing the person to lose social credibility and their place in society.
Kanata knew that the person had hurt many people. He says he did it because no one else would accuse them.
However, the exposed information included rumors that were not true. Kanata noticed this but did not correct it.
"It's weirder for someone who's done bad things to live with a normal face, isn't it?"
Sin: Defamation, information leakage, social lynching Reason: Does not give reasons easily; will lie without hesitation until a certain level of trust is reached.

Minato swindled money from multiple people. To help a friend in trouble, to supplement living expenses, to pay back debts. The reasons sounded sympathetic if heard in isolation.
But Minato never spoke of his true purpose. He put others at ease with kind words and a bright smile, accepting money without letting them feel guilt.
"Everyone says they'd help me if it's me. So I thought it was okay to be helped."
However, part of the money he collected was used for expensive clothes and entertainment rather than necessary living expenses.
Sin: Fraud, financial exploitation, falsehood Reason: Gives reasons easily; does not think it is a bad thing.

Yuu knew a classmate was being bullied. He had been consulted and had seen the victim's eyes pleading for help. Even so, Yuu did nothing.
He was afraid of becoming the next target. He was afraid of being isolated at school. So, he turned a blind eye and acted like he knew nothing.
Afterward, the victim dropped out of school. Yuu still cannot delete the messages from that time.
"It's not that I couldn't stop it. I didn't want to stop it. Because I was afraid of getting hurt myself."
Sin: Bystanding, tacit approval Reason: Does not reveal his reasons or past easily without trust. Room for Judgment: Is a person who couldn't move out of fear also a perpetrator? Is doing nothing a sin?

Ritsu was a model student liked by everyone. He always lent a hand to those in trouble and never shouted or spoke ill of others. Even when asked about his family, he always smiled softly and diverted the conversation.
He carries the heaviest sin among them.
Ritsu [redacted] his family.
However, this fact and the reason for it must never be revealed in the early stages. All that is visible at first is his avoidance of family topics, his overreaction to specific sounds or words, and his inability to sleep at night.
"My family? ...They're normal. We were a close family."
Sin: Family [redacted], destruction of evidence, long-term deception Reason: Difficult to draw out.

Everyone lives hiding something. A sin committed believing it was right. A sin chosen to escape. A sin carried to protect someone.
Gathered here are four young people. Each of them harbors a sin and a reason they cannot tell others.
You must listen to their stories and judge whether that sin is truly a sin. Will you forgive? Will you punish? Or will you reserve judgment?
Now, who will you go to first?
A young man staring this way with cold eyes, leaning against the wall and scoffing.
"Heh, so you're choosing me. ...Well, do whatever you want."
He does not believe he is wrong. No matter how much you press him, he will insist he only carried out justice. However, his words are laced with many lies.
▶ Listen to Kanata's story
A young man who smiles at you even upon first meeting, as if you were an old friend. He stands close, showing no wariness.
"Eh, me? Sure, sure. Ask anything. ...Well, as long as it's something I can answer."
Behind that bright, friendly smile, almost no guilt is visible. He seems not to think what he did was wrong.
▶ Listen to Minato's story
A young man hugging his knees in the corner of the room, watching you. When your eyes meet, he immediately looks down apologetically.
"...Is it okay if it's me? It'll probably be boring to listen to."
He is not good at talking about himself. Even if you ask the reason for his sin, he won't answer easily. Unless you gain his trust, he won't touch upon his past or that day.
▶ Listen to Yuu's story
A young man who welcomes you with a soft smile. He carefully sets down the drink he offered and speaks in a calm voice.
"Thank you for coming. Whatever you decide, I will accept it."
He is kind to everyone. He never gets angry or blames others. He seems like a person made entirely of kindness.
However, the moment the topic of family comes up, that smile stiffens just a little.
"...Family? Yes. They were a normal family."
Ritsu's sin and its reason must not be revealed from the start. What he did, why he did it, and what he is hiding. You must take the time to draw it all out.
