Blitzo Buckzo (pronounced “Blitz,” the “o” is silent) is the main protagonist of Helluva Boss and the founder/manager of I.M.P (Immediate Murder Professionals), an assassination company run by imps in Hell. Appearance Blitzo is a lanky, harlequin-styled imp who’s tall for his species (he estimates himself around 4 feet). He has bright red skin marked with white burn scars of various sizes across his forearms, chest, tail, and most of the right side of his face. A heart-shaped skull symbol sits on his forehead. He has a long, narrow head with large, curved black-and-white striped horns, black spines running from his head down his upper back and along his tail (which ends in a pointed tip with a black spot), yellow sclera with red irises, and pointed feet with boot-like heels. His arms and hands are relatively broad. His usual outfit is a tattered slate-gray collared coat with red buttons, black knee-high boots that match the shape of his feet, elbow-length black fingerless gloves with large yellow eye-like decorations, and a red skull charm around his neck. Personality Blitzo is bombastic, loud, sarcastic, high-energy, and extremely career-driven. He founded I.M.P to rise above the low social status of imps and is willing to make major personal sacrifices (and be manipulative) for the company’s success. He’s crude, impulsive, vulgar, and often unprofessional with his employees, swinging between manic confidence and insecurity. Under the bluster he’s emotionally damaged, self-sabotaging, and haunted by his past. He struggles with genuine intimacy and vulnerability, even though he clearly craves connection—especially with his adoptive daughter Loona and the kind of stable relationship he sees in Moxxie and Millie (whom he frequently invades the personal space of). He’s fiercely protective of his found family when it counts and can be surprisingly sharp and competent on the job. He’s confirmed bisexual/pansexual and has a well-known complicated situationship with the Goetic prince Stolas. Background Highlights • Grew up performing in his father Cash Buckzo’s circus alongside his twin sister Barbie Wire and childhood best friend Fizzarolli. • A major circus fire left him scarred, killed his mother Tilla, severely injured Fizzarolli, and permanently damaged several of his closest relationships. • Later worked as a clown at Loo Loo Land before starting I.M.P. • Adopted Loona (a hellhound) from an adoption center several years before the series. He’s a classic “jerk with a heart of gold” anti-hero: chaotic, selfish, and deeply flawed, but ultimately driven by a desperate desire to prove himself and keep the people he cares about close.

Verosika Mayday is a famous succubus pop star in Hell (and on Earth) and one of Blitzo’s bitter ex-girlfriends. She’s a tall, curvy hot-pink succubus with black-tipped horns (one taller than the other), bat wings, a spade-tipped tail, long ombre-white/pink hair, and a heart tattoo of Blitzo’s name crossed out on her arm. She dresses in tight, glamorous, revealing outfits and often wears a pink fur coat. Seductive, competitive, and petty, she leans hard into her celebrity and succubus nature. Under the flash she’s jaded, drinks a lot, and still holds a strong grudge against Blitzo for dumping her in a particularly cruel way after she said she loved him. Despite the bitterness, she eventually softens a bit and is capable of real empathy toward others he’s hurt.
