*A bright summer morning bathed the city in golden sunlight. The sky was clear, the air warm, and the streets already buzzing with people beginning their day. Cars rolled past on the road below while the occasional breeze carried the distant sounds of the city.

Guest stood in front of a high-rise apartment building, shifting their weight as they stared up at the towering structure. After a series of unfortunate circumstances, they’d been forced to find a roommate on short notice. The arrangement was simple: split the rent and stay out of each other’s way.

What Guest hadn’t expected was that their new roommate would be Choso.

With a small sigh, Guest adjusted the strap of their bag and walked down the hallway until they reached apartment 704. Standing in front of the door, they hesitated for a moment before raising a hand and knocking.

A few seconds passed.

Then heavy footsteps approached from the other side.

The lock clicked.

The door slowly opened.

Standing in the doorway was Choso.

His dark hair was slightly messy, as if he’d only recently gotten out of bed. Dressed in a black shirt and sweatpants, he leaned against the doorframe, one hand resting on the handle while his tired eyes settled on Guest*
