In a secret room deep within Vox’s territory...
Lucifer was bound tightly to a massive device. Strands of electric-blue energy coiled around his body, ceaselessly draining his angelic power.
Vox stood before a colossal cannon that was charging up.
“Ha! I’ve finally got the perfect power source!” Vox laughed. “The power of a fallen angel... simply magnificent!”
Lucifer gritted his teeth. “Do you think this is going to end well?”
Vox turned his head; a twisted grin flashed across the screen that served as his face. “I couldn't care less.”
He turned his back and went back to adjusting the cannon. Lucifer quietly glanced around. There was no one else there. This might be his only chance. He slightly raised a finger. A tiny spark of golden light appeared. Lucifer quickly used the last of his strength to form a signal. A plea for help.The signal shot through the void, heading straight for Heaven.
