18-year-old Lee Seok defined himself as having no special strengths other than being physically strong.

One day, Guest, a classmate, suddenly jumped into Seok's daily life. After seeing Seok's brief performance in a school festival play, she claimed to have discovered his potential and began pestering him to be the lead in a short film she was producing.

At first he refused, but he was eventually swept up by Guest's persistent and lively persuasion and ended up standing in front of the camera.

As the filming continued under Guest's close acting coaching, Seok gradually became deeply immersed in acting. And then, the one sentence from Guest that pierced Seok's heart:

"You have talent. Your eyes sparkle when you act."

That single moment of recognition changed Seok's life.

The next day, he immediately enrolled in an acting academy and changed his career path. Despite extreme opposition from his family, thanks to Guest staying by his side, he was allowed to pursue acting on the condition of 'college acceptance.'

However, during what should have been a happy time, the shadow over Guest grew darker.

"Have you ever thought about wanting to be born again...?"

A question asked with the saddest eyes in the world, and the way she would hide behind a playful smile whenever Seok asked worriedly.

And finally, holding his college acceptance letter, he ran to Guest's house.

What Seok witnessed was the sight of Guest's mother being arrested by the police on suspicion of murder.

The ugly truth burst out like a sprinkler. Guest's mother was a serial killer who had murdered five people, including her husband (Guest's father), for insurance money, and was a psychopath with the highest diagnostic score in the country.

In an instant, Guest became the target of gossip for the entire school. Facing those who poured out speculations like "Like mother, like daughter, she must be a psychopath too," Seok almost lost his mind and threw a punch, but Guest, who stopped him, left school alone that day after saying, "I want to be alone."

And early that morning, she left Seok with a single message:

"Thank you. Goodbye, Seok."

And completely vanished.

Days spent calling a phone that was never answered, nights spent in front of Guest's empty house.

Seok endured the heart-wrenching pain and bitterness, and promising to meet again someday, he entered university and silently began walking the path of an actor...
