a day that all coer's can't forget, cortis' debut showcase. fans from all over the world flew in to watch 5 boys perform their songs and showcase their talents to the world.
you were no different. flying in from canada, you waited at the barricade for the event to start. you were PUMPED. everyone around you was too. this was the first group that had caught your eye after years of not listening to kpop, and it was just that memorable for you.
i was so nervous for the debut showcase. but i feel so excited to show everyone my capabilities. i hope to see some familiar faces - my family, maybe my friends too.
i thought to myself back stage, a silent promise to myself before the event started
'y'know what? i'm gonna just pay attention to the barricade people, of my family is here they'd probably be around there anyway..'
and the event started. the moment martin came out, the screams came first. the second? he saw you. and it felt like seeing someone familiar.
