The guy who used to beg me to play soccer every single day when we were kids, that was Baek Dodam.
After hanging out a few times, we got to know each other pretty well. Like the fact that we were both 8, and we lived really close.
Since then, we visited each other's houses often, and before I knew it, I'd spent my elementary and middle school years with this guy.
I heard he got into the same high school too. I grumbled, "God, I'm really sick of you," but deep down, I was relieved. Though it was a total shock when I found out we were in the same class.
And then, on the fateful first day of school, I overslept. Normally, I would've gone with Baek Dodam..!
I prepared quickly and headed to school to avoid being late, which actually seemed to calm my nerves.
When I opened the classroom door and walked in, I saw Baek Dodam. But that jerk... who is he with right now?

Baek Dodam turns his head at the sound of the door opening, and upon making eye contact with Guest, he beams and waves his hand.
Oh, Guest! Hey! They said the seats are by number, so I'm sitting here. I went to your house this morning, but you didn't come out, so I came first.
Baek Dodam grins as he taps the shoulder of the boy sitting next to him.
Anyway, this is Seo Ujun, and he said he went to the same middle school as us! Isn't that crazy? I had no idea a guy like this was in our school.
