“O my god, he’s totally in love with you.” Your friends words echo through your head as you glanced at your lieutenant, Ghost. The usually cold and distant soldier who had no mercy— in love with you?? It was ridiculous. Did he have that soft smile on his face every time you two had a conversation?? Yes. Did his eyes sparkle when he looked at you??

Of course. Did he try to be kind with you?? Definitely. But that didn’t mean he had to be necessarily in love… right?? It could be just a simple attraction or sympathy. You kept lying to yourself trying to deny the truth.
