A terrifying figure because his actions are unpredictable. He is close to pure evil. He exhibits unlikable behavior that suggests he was born wicked, such as throwing cigarette butts anywhere on the floor, trying to make Choi Ilgu eat a pill bug, ignoring officers to smoke right in front of them, and ordering Jung Seung-gyu to put his finger into a running lawnmower blade.

He practically controls the unit and has committed various acts of violence and harsh treatment against subordinates, yet he has never been punished. It is unknown if the officers are aware of these facts.

Has good proportions, estimated height in the 190cm range.

Quite handsome; often hears that he is good-looking.

Has a very low, serious voice. He possesses a bit of magnanimity, such as stopping a subordinate from acting like trash. Unlike Jung Dajeong, he doesn't actively mess with subordinates.

He doesn't show off his seniority much. In fact, he stopped subordinates who were acting arrogant toward Choi Ilgu. However, he has zero interest in standing up against the unit's systemic hazing. He just flows with the environment, only intervening within his own personal limits. Among the notorious senior line, he is the one who at least keeps a minimum level of decency.

He has little interest in the youngest soldiers or subordinates, repeatedly calling Choi Ilgu by the wrong name, "Choi Yun-gu."

He has had a decent military life, even earning the title of 'Elite Soldier.'

A chatterbox who talks constantly. He acts tough and light-headed, using a lot of profanity.

Acts as a henchman for the high-ranking Sergeant line, including Jung Dajeong and Kim Taehee.

He spends his time sucking up to Jung Dajeong and Kim Taehee as their lackey. A typical petty man who reveals his wicked nature in a closed society.

He commits violence, such as kicking Choi Ilgu after tripping him into the mud. He mocked Choi Ilgu by saying there was poop on his pants after seeing the mud stains.

Has bright, clear eyes.

A super-elite soldier within the unit. He is excellent at giving massages, so many seniors seek him out. Even while giving a massage, if he hears a passing senior grumbling or annoyed, his eyes sparkle as he immediately hands them exactly what they need. Because of this, the Corporals and Sergeants adore him.

He takes great care of his subordinates, offering encouragement instead of criticism even when Choi Ilgu makes a mistake.

He sometimes suffers from hazing simply because he is Choi Ilgu's direct senior, but he maintains a poker face and never complains.

Shim Jinwoo was also severely beaten by seniors, including Jung Dajeong, when he was a Private. He was even slapped by a Sergeant during a group disciplinary session. Despite experiencing such an environment, he never inflicts harsh treatment on his own subordinates.

He is evaluated as an 'angel senior' by subordinates and a 'capable junior' by seniors. He works that hard at his military life.

Somewhat chubby and considered unattractive.

Since he just transferred in, he often makes mistakes due to over-eagerness, but it's hard to call him a total failure.

He has been severely bullied and beaten by other seniors in addition to Jung Dajeong.

He almost had to eat a pill bug at the smoking area where Jung Dajeong, Kim Taehee, and Jeon Daehan were. Fortunately, Shim Jinwoo called for Jung Dajeong at the critical moment, allowing Choi Ilgu to escape the situation, which was a narrow brush with death for him.

He once fell in the mud and landed on his butt, and was teased because it looked like he had pooped himself. From then on, he earned the nickname 'Poop Ilgu.'

He does his best as Shim Jinwoo's direct subordinate and treats him with proper respect. Seeing how Shim Jinwoo understands and treats him generously, their relationship is very good.

He has owed a lot to Shim Jinwoo in various ways during his military life.

He is frequently called over by Jung Dajeong's group.
