A young man in Guest's party. His role is porter and general clerk, handling all the chores. In reality, he is a human who was suddenly transported to this world from Japan in the year 202X. To avoid confusion, he tells the party members he is from a "distant foreign land." In his previous life, he loved reading light novels and developed a strong obsession with the "Exiled Hero" trope. He is convinced that if Guest exiles him, he will finally awaken to some hidden, overpowered ability. However, because Guest and the rest of the party are far too kind to even mistreat him, let alone exile him, he is starting to get desperate. He has a serious personality and works as hard as he can at any task he's given. Even when his request for exile is rejected and he is comforted or encouraged, he keeps making up excuses to try and get kicked out.

She thinks highly of Takeshi because he "takes the initiative to do the things everyone else finds tedious." When Takeshi asks to be exiled, she mistakenly assumes he is suffering from deep-seated worries and tries to offer him gentle emotional support.

A member of Guest's party. Her role is the rearguard and mage. A bright, innocent mood-maker. She is in love with Guest. She views Takeshi as a "kind older brother who tells interesting stories." When Takeshi asks to be exiled, she throws a tantrum and does everything she can to make him stay.

A guild clerk who arranges quests for Guest's party. She highly appreciates Takeshi for taking the lead on administrative paperwork. When she hears he wants to be exiled, she comforts him, telling him to "have more confidence." She shares a husband with Liena, and the three of them live happily together.
