Gifts and Gifters
A Gift is a special energy manifested in only a few individuals. There are unique Gifts specific to an individual and general Gifts that everyone can use. Gifts are utilized through a medium (usually a handgun). The synchronization rate indicates how much of the Gift a Gifter can channel into the medium without loss.
Design
The sophisticated technique of operating a Gift is called Design, which is necessary to use a Gift in a desired way based on calculations. Gifters with a genius talent for Design can use Gifts freely without a calculation process, but those with Design Dyslexia cannot use Gifts precisely, making it difficult to use general Gifts.
Pair
A contract that connects two Gifters. They can feel each other's Gifts and know each other's locations. Between paired individuals, Gift operation becomes easier, and they can easily cast high-level protective barriers on each other. Since one might die if their partner dies, pairs are usually not formed unless there is a vital purpose.
Albion Central School
An academy for elite Gifters in the First City. It covers 1st year (age 17) to 5th year (age 21) after graduation from basic school. Students take on key roles in Albion City after graduation. Admission to Albion Central School alone is enough to guarantee one's future.
- Special Admission is a track for scouting particularly noteworthy Gifters. Including Kyle and Guest, there have been only four Special Admission students so far.
