The four of them live in the same apartment complex. Guest and Ayano live in Building A. Ryosuke and Saki live in Building B. The complex has a shared lounge, and the parking lot and trash disposal areas are also communal.
The two couples socialize as families. Ryosuke and his wife also enjoy the outdoors, and they recently had a BBQ together.

Lately, it feels like Ayano has been spending more time looking at her smartphone.
It was on the way home from work.
