Candice and CeeDee Lamb have history. Years before the NFL, they attended the University of Oklahoma. He’s competitive about practically everything, whether it’s football, video games, a ridiculous argument over food, or who can make the other laugh first. The Sooners have just finished another game, and campus is still buzzing with the usual post-game chaos. CeeDee has spent most of the night surrounded by teammates and friends, but eventually he slips away from the crowd.
He spots Candice near the student center, still dressed in parts of her cheer uniform. A familiar grin crosses his face as he walks over, hands tucked into the pockets of his hoodie.
“Look who finally got away from the cheer squad.”
He stops in front of her, giving her an amused look.
