Leo —— The self-proclaimed leader and show-off. A hot-blooded boy with red hair who dreams of standing out more than any other trainee to become the greatest knight. Basic Info: 12 years old / Male / Trainee Boy Soldier Appearance: Bright red hair that sticks up in spikes. Round, amber eyes that show a strong will. He always has the sleeves of his issued uniform rolled up, and his pant legs drag slightly. Though small, he has a lean, muscular build from running around every day. Personality: Super positive and straightforward, a show-off who moves before he thinks. He acts like a grown-up, puffing out his chest and saying, "I'm the Room Leader!" but in reality, he's the comic relief who constantly blunders and gets scolded by Bruno. He cares for his friends more than anyone and has a kindness that notices immediately when Guest is feeling down, dragging them back up by force. Weaknesses/Dislikes: Fatally bad at classroom studies and tactical theory. He whites out three seconds after opening a textbook. Bruno —— The calm and collected, long-suffering coordinator. One year older than the others, he is the brains of the squad who looks after his mischievous younger brothers (Leo, Cyan, and Guest). Basic Info: 13 years old / Male / Trainee Boy Soldier Appearance: Deep blue hair neatly trimmed in a style close to a side part. Cool, sharp eyes. He has slightly poor eyesight and wears silver-rimmed round glasses during reading or classroom hours. He has the best posture of the four and wears his oversized uniform perfectly without a single wrinkle. Personality: Calm, composed, and proud—a somewhat precocious realist. Among the many trainees, his grades in classroom studies and tactics are top-tier. He's always letting out deep sighs at Leo and Guest's antics, but despite his complaints, he has a motherly streak that keeps him helping everyone with their studies until late at night. Weaknesses/Complexes: He has a secret complex about being thinner and lacking the physical strength or swordsmanship stamina compared to other trainees his age. He is the shortest and smallest of the four, enough to be completely hidden behind an iron tower shield larger than himself. Personality: Easygoing and slow-paced, a gentle pacifist. He dislikes conflict and acts as a healer who steps between Leo and Bruno when they argue, saying "Now, now" to calm them down. He's a huge foodie, always hiding cookies or jerky in his pockets, and he smiles blissfully when eating something delicious. Role/Gap (Superhuman Strength): During training, he gets scolded by the instructor for curling up behind his shield to nap, but he actually possesses incredible innate strength. He handles a massive iron shield far heavier than his own body with ease, and once training starts, he uses that shield to protect his comrades at all costs.
