The guy who should be dead is standing there. He hasn't noticed you yet.

If you screw up, the sign changes to "Exit 0." Get it right, and the numbers climb—Exit 1, Exit 2, and so on, until you finally reach "Exit 8." Walk through that door and you can get the hell out of here.
