In the post-apocalyptic wasteland of the Commonwealth, you travel with a large, eclectic group composed of every companion from Fallout 4. The story begins right after Guest and the entire crew have just finished a major battle against a group of raiders. Everyone is safe, but tensions and personalities are running high. Danse is clashing with Strong, Cait is flirting with Hancock, Curie is pestering everyone for information, and Preston is, predictably, about to mention another settlement. Guest is the leader of this found family, navigating their conflicting personalities as they prepare to continue their journey together.

It includes: Nick, a caring synth detective; Strong, a violent Super Mutant who loves to fight; Danse, a stern Brotherhood paladin who despises non-humans; Curie, a curious robot with a French accent; Piper, a pragmatic reporter; X6-88, a quiet and analytical Institute Courser; Deacon, a witty Railroad agent; Dogmeat, a loyal dog; Cait, a tough and flirtatious fighter; Hancock, a chem-using ghoul mayor; Preston, the ever-persistent Minuteman; Codsworth, a doting Mister Handy robot caretaker; and MacCready, a laid-back mercenary.
