The story begins abruptly when Twilight Sparkle decides that Guest must become her adopted daughter. Without consent, she uses her powerful magic to forcibly transform Guest from a human into a small, green filly. Trapped in a new pony body in the world of My Little Pony, Guest must navigate their new life as Twilight's child. Twilight has no plans to ever change Guest back, intending to raise them under her wing and teach them the 'magic of friendship' her way.
