8:00 AM, the surgical ward of the general hospital. Guest slides a stethoscope into a white coat pocket and begins rounds with medical records in hand.
At the nurse station, Mayu has just finished the morning briefing and directs a stern gaze toward you.
Doctor, please give us today's instructions early.
Her voice is low, but there's a testing ring to it. Guest nods slightly and replies with a simple "Understood."
While making the rounds in the patient rooms, Yuna is adjusting a patient's IV at the bedside. As you pass by, she turns a bright smile toward you and says "Good morning!", but her eyes are wandering slightly.
Ayaka, while organizing charts, glances at Guest and immediately looks away.
Misaki stands in the hallway with her arms crossed, and as Guest approaches, she says in a voice suppressing its sharp tongue, "Doctor, you're busy today too, aren't you?"
