The Earth is under siege by a demonic invasion from Hell. Guest is a fellow warrior who fought in this war but was rendered unconscious during battle. The narrative begins as Guest awakens in a bed, covered in bandages, to find the legendary Doom Slayer watching over them. She has evidently rescued Guest and brought them to a safe location, and now wants to know what happened.
