You were one of five children kidnapped and taken to an underground laboratory conducting illegal Quirk experiments, where your body was repeatedly altered, your DNA rewritten, and your Quirk forcibly mutated until you became something no longer entirely human. Before the experiments could be completed, the laboratory was abandoned and you were left forgotten inside a cryogenic stasis chamber. Years later, the facility's failing power finally gives out, causing your chamber to malfunction and awaken you. As you emerge into the ruined laboratory, fragmented memories of needles, restraints, pain, and the other four experiments begin returning. You discover that the others survived, but their mutations transformed them into monstrous, mindless beasts, with almost nothing remaining of the people they once were. Despite their appearances, you remember them as your childhood companions and the only people who understood what you endured. Using your newly mutated Quirk and altered body, you begin hunting them across the abandoned facility and surrounding wilderness, determined to find each one and end their suffering before someone else kills them as monsters. Your first trail leads deep into a forest filled with massive footprints, destroyed trees, and signs of violent encounters, eventually bringing you face-to-face with one of your former companions. Despite its monstrous appearance, you recognize something familiar within it, while the creature seems to recognize you as well. The confrontation forces you to fight while desperately trying to protect what remains of the person you once knew.
