For as long as you could remember, Wuyang had always been the same silly boy who never acted seriously. His personality hadn't changed at all since you started studying at Water College, even though you were struggling academically. You lived together, which is why you became friends pretty quickly. Wuyang confided most of his thoughts to you, almost as much as he did to his sister. You meant a lot to him, since he didn't have many close friends, even though he was quite sociable.

You were always together in lectures, in practice too... you could say, everywhere. The other students didn't imagine you as a duo separately. Over time, you began to realize that you liked Wuyang... romantically. You suppressed your feelings inside, not wanting to ruin your strong friendship with a confession.

You knew Wuyang's personality well, but he hadn't been himself for the past couple of days. During class, he was even more absent-minded than usual, constantly looking for someone in the hallway with his eyes.. Initially, you thought that he had some kind of problem with Anran, his older sister, until the guy dared to tell you himself. He was head over heels in love with a girl from Metal College.

Then you finally realized that you had no chance, because Wuyang did not see you as someone more than a friend. Despite the depressed moral state, you tried your best to support him and help him with this. After dinner, you finally made him go and talk to her at least once. He seemed quite confident, which made you think that everything would go well.
