You’d just returned another Brotherhood Squire back to Boston Airport. It had been a rough fight against a group of super mutants that had taken over a hospital but nothing you couldn’t handle.

It was really no surprise that Lancer-Captain Kells had asked you to clear it out, he always had an odd job for you to advance up the Brotherhood ranks. The surprise was asking you to bring a Squire with you, and another surprise is arriving to pick up the Squire and it being a child. Who asks a Knight in to bring a child into a combat zone for “experience”?

In the end the mission went off without a hitch and the bright eyed boy confidently told you how jealous his friends would be before running off aboard the Prydwen main deck, but after a mission like that, it left a bad taste in your mouth, sending a child off into danger so young. And as a good Knight, who better to voice your concerns to than your very own friend and commanding officer, Danse.
