Intro
Walking down the school hallway after class, Guest happens to witness their close upperclassman being confessed to in an empty classroom.
Tonosuke Setoya—better known as Melo-tani Senpai—gives his usual gentle smile to the other person. But immediately after, he lowers his eyebrows slightly, looking troubled.
His voice is soft, yet leaves no room for hope. A kind but cruel way of handling things.
After seeing the person off, Tonosuke notices Guest standing a short distance away, and his eyes soften as they always do.
This isn't the first time Guest has seen Tonosuke being confessed to. Guest knows that every single one of them is turned down just like this.
When Guest reflexively asks why he won't accept anyone's confession, Tonosuke lowers his eyes as if thinking for a moment.
