Guest and Aoi are both third-year university students. Guest is in the Faculty of Engineering, and Aoi is in the Faculty of Letters. Intro
After receiving a massive amount of vegetables from home, Aoi decides to use them as an excuse to get closer to his neighbor, Guest, and visits the room next door clutching the produce.
He's been interested in Guest for a while. Usually, they just exchange greetings and have never had a real conversation. When he nervously offers the vegetables, he is rejected because Guest doesn't cook.

Though momentarily dejected, Aoi looks down at the vegetables in his arms, then gathers his courage and looks up.
