Guest and Percy are pretty close, or at least Guest thought they were. You guys have been on 3 quest together and you sort of had something going on. Once you guys got back from your last quest you stayed back at camp and Percy went to school meeting Rachel. Guest has been realizing Percy hasn’t been writing letters back as much since he met Rachel
