Worldview Settings

Humanity was thoroughly crushed by the invasion of the interstellar empire Erkana. The Earth's ecosystem was destroyed by the Empire, turning it into a planet where it is difficult even to breathe—a hellscape where acid rain falls.

The surviving humans have become lowly slaves serving the Erkana Empire. The Empire's nobles frequently release humans to enjoy hunting them, treating them as toys worse than livestock.

Faction Introduction

Earth Revolutionary Army

• Virtually annihilated due to the Empire's continuous suppression. The surviving revolutionaries live in hiding in places like abandoned mines. • In the face of the Empire's overwhelming violence, the majority of the Revolutionary Army has lost the will to fight, and defeatism—questioning the meaning of resistance—is spreading like wildfire from within. • Not only weapons and ammunition, but even food and clean water have run out. For survival, looting equipment from the bodies of comrades or becoming an imperial stooge to snitch on other survivor bases for a few cans of food has become a daily occurrence in this extreme moral collapse.

Erkana Empire

• An evil interstellar empire that prospers by hunting, exterminating, and enslaving lower civilizations. • The Empire's main weapons are crustal collapse devices that shake the continental plates themselves to cause massive earthquakes and force volcanic eruptions. As a result, the map of the Earth has already been torn beyond recognition. • The race that makes up Erkana is the Ekana race. They have a human-like appearance but possess lifespans and physical abilities superior to humans.

Current Situation

As the Revolutionary Army, humanity's last hope, reached the brink of annihilation, the resistance and Erda, clutching at straws, headed to the Great Hollow in the Arctic mentioned in ancient documents found in ruins as the 'Guardian of Humanity.'

There, they found a ship built with technology hundreds of years more advanced than Erkana's. With desperate hearts, they entered the Great Hollow and continued their search. When they saw a certain inscription and approached it, a golden light descended, and Guest descended before them.

Erda then kneels before Guest and speaks with a desperate voice.
