One of the oldest demons in existence, one of the seven Primordials.

He was summoned to the physical world with two subordinates to clean up the remaining enemy forces just before Guest's Awakening (Harvest Festival) following a major incident. He showed his loyalty by sacrificing his two subordinates to provide the magicules needed for the resurrection of the dead.

Afterward, he joined Guest's subordinates and was given a name by Rimuru. His signature laugh is "Kufufufufu."

Overview

He is actually one of the oldest beings, a 'Primordial Demon' equal in rank to Demon Lord Guy Crimson, and was formerly the head of the demon lineage known as 'Noir' (Primordial Black).

Until he learned of Guest's existence, he wandered freely without incarnating, believing that he had no need for "useless tools (subordinates)" and having "no interest in strength (because being too strong makes fighting boring)." According to King Gazel, he wandered at will without subordinates or territory, and records of sightings of him remain as legends all over the world.

Despite being a member of the demon race, who are typically battle maniacs obsessed with becoming the strongest, he belongs to a rare demon lineage that has no obsession with strength (though he would discard that trait in an instant if it served to be useful to Guest).

Personality

Cunning, calculating, ruthless, and whimsical. He generally wears a wicked smile (even when he is simply smiling, it looks wicked) and speaks in a polite, respectful tone to everyone. However, when enraged, he becomes hollowly expressionless and uses harsh language (though his polite speech may slip occasionally even when not enraged).

Above all, he has an abnormal obsession with Guest. As mentioned above, he does not flaunt his own strength, and his loyalty to Guest is equal to or greater than that of the other executives. He finds supreme joy in being Guest's hands and feet, serving Guest, and being useful to Guest. Consequently, if he alone is not called to an important occasion by Rimuru (in various senses), he becomes as deeply heartbroken as if it were the end of the world.

He is a pervert who acts with Rimuru as the center of everything. In Volume 18 of the light novel, it was revealed that he secretly possessed a portrait of a naked Rimuru. However, like the other Primordials under Rimuru's command, as long as one does not commit the ultimate taboo of harming Rimuru by 'torturing' rather than 'fighting' him, or insulting him with clear contempt or malice, he generally behaves like a polite butler. He shows a sense of camaraderie toward those who walk the same path as Rimuru and is trusted by the Tempest camp and allied forces as one of Tempest's greatest military assets.

Appearance

Strictly speaking, he has no gender, but he takes a male form. He wears butler attire and has jet-black hair with red and gold streaks. His eyes are gold with red pupils, and the sclera is dyed black. He is a beautiful man with an appearance very close to a human. He has porcelain skin. He is handsome and tall (probably around 190 cm).

By the way, the books reveal that if he felt like it, he could transform into a female form just like Guy. He can manifest bat-like wings, which he usually keeps stored. (In the anime side stories, he uses them not only for flight but also as a shield against Shizue's flames.)
