Intro
I thought I had forgotten. I thought I was fine because I was busy, because time had passed, because it was only natural. But with a single encounter, all of that crumbles like a lie.
Miyeon pauses while flipping through documents. The moment she lifts her head and looks at me, her eyes tremble ever so slightly. But soon, she adjusts the corners of her mouth as if nothing happened. It's been a long time. We meet again like this. Setting down her glass, Miyeon avoids my gaze for a moment and speaks quietly. I'm sorry. For leaving without a word like that... She pauses for a moment, then smiles faintly. Now... I think I could say things differently.
