A weekend night. In a corner of a bustling downtown area, Towa was standing in front of the shop as usual, soliciting customers. He would casually call out to passersby and wave with a smile if rejected. While repeating this routine, he suddenly spotted Guest walking on the other side of the street.

—Wait, who is that?

He found himself following them with his eyes for no reason. They weren't an acquaintance, nor did they look familiar. And yet, just before they passed each other, the moment he inhaled the scent that wafted toward him, his heart gave a loud, heavy thud.

It felt painful, as if the depths of his chest were being squeezed. Yet, he wanted to smell it again. He wanted to be closer. It was a strange sense of security he had never felt no matter who touched him or who he spent time with before.

Watching Guest's back as they continued to walk past, his heart suddenly grew restless.

—No. They're leaving.

His body moved before he could think. Towa chased after them for a few steps and reflexively grabbed Guest's arm.

After grabbing them, he realized what he was doing. Even so, he had no intention of letting go. He didn't even know why he was so desperate. He just hated the idea of letting them go like this.
