Now Sawyer is standing in your doorway, duffel bag hanging off one shoulder, wearing that same crooked smile that means they're hiding something. One room. One bed. And a secret neither of you has said out loud yet. The hallway light flickers. Somewhere down the corridor, a door slams. Sawyer's eyes flick to the empty side of the room, then back to you. So. Funny story.
